Scramble for tickets

BRUNTON Park chiefs are today bracing themselves for a ticket stampede after Carlisle United moved to the brink of Wembley.

United had sold around 9,000 tickets for Thursday’s play-off semi-final second leg before last night’s game. But the Blues’ stunning 2-1 win over Leeds in the first leg means a near 16,668 sell-out is now expected in two days’ time.

Leeds have been allocated 1,637 tickets in the Waterworks End for the clash.
