A gang of roaming Robin Hoods will watch Carlisle United's final game of the League Two season in Nottingham tomorrow.

A host of Blues fans plan to attend the Notts County game dressed as the legendary prince of thieves.

Others plan to come as Friar Tuck and Maid Marian as the United faithful end a long campaign of travelling in colourful style.

Those attending the Meadow Lane game could see a number of Blues players for the last time, with manager Keith Curle poised to announce his retained and released decisions next week.

Defender Macaulay Gillesphey is fit after a dead leg, allowing the Newcastle youngster to play his final Carlisle game along with fellow loanees Alex Gilliead and Hallam Hope, the latter back from suspension.

United could still finish anywhere between ninth and 14th and Curle insisted: "I don't mind if it's a five-a-side game, head tennis or an end-of-season game with virtually nothing to play for - I want to be competitive in everything I do."

Curle has been chasing more potential transfer targets this week whilst hoping for talks with the Blues' owners over his summer budget.

Opponents Notts County are without suspended ex-Blues midfielder Liam Noble, but former United defender Mike Edwards, 36, could feature in a game where victory will earn Mark Cooper a permanent deal as Magpies manager.

A minute's round of applause will be held in the 22nd minute tomorrow for Notts fan Katie Bellaby, who died last month aged 22.

United, meanwhile, will take a step closer to appointing a new academy manager after applications close today.

The Blues hold their end of season awards dinner at the Shepherd's Inn, Rosehill, on Sunday.
