Carlisle United are opening their Waterworks End terrace as the club expects an influx of fans from promotion-chasing Oxford this weekend.

The Blues have made 1,000 terracing tickets available to Saturday's visitors, as well as 1,465 seats.

So far fans of third-placed Oxford have sold about 1,000 tickets overall.

Michael Appleton's side can clinch promotion at Brunton Park if they win and Bristol Rovers slip up at York.

The Waterworks End was last open to away fans for Everton's visit in the FA Cup fourth round in February.

Blues fans, meanwhile, must fork out £24 to watch the dead-rubber game at Notts County on the final day of the campaign.

There will be little riding on the fixture with 17th-placed Notts at no risk of relegation while United's slim play-off hopes were finally ended on Saturday.

But it will still be one of League Two's more expensive away days for Carlisle's travelling supporters.

Adult prices at Meadow Lane are £24, with seniors (60+) and young adults (18-21) £15. Under-18s are £6. Tickets are on sale at United now.
