Have you had problems buying petrol?

There have been reports of panic buying and price hikes at petrol stations due the closure of the Grangemouth oil refinery due to a strike over pensions

No, I did fill up before the weekend because I needed to rather than panic buying.

Alan Gardiner, 60, Stanwix, Carlisle

No, but I do think some people have been over-reacting.

Pam Gardiner, 59, Stanwix, Carlisle

My husband deals with filling up the car and I don’t think he has had any problems.

Theresa Keddy, 63, Wigton Road, Carlisle

No, I think there is plenty to go round.

Robert Isaac, 65, Heads Nook

No. I think the strike is being used as an excuse to put prices up.

Pauline Isaac, 55, Heads Nook

I think it will take a while for things to get back to normal in Scotland. I did see people queuing at a petrol station this morning but that might just have been normal.

Frank Cooper, 66, Harraby, Carlisle

No. My husband filled the car up last weekend. We have not needed any since then.

Moyra Jones, 47, Seaton

No. I have not had any problems filling up.

Jamie Edgar, 19, Workington

I filled up in Seaton over the weekend. There were no problems there.
