Waited on by past students

CATERING students enjoyed the sweet taste of success when two former pupils cooked for them this week.

The Carlisle College team which has won through to the final of the nationally-acclaimed Nestle Toque d’Or competition tucked into a four-course meal at Holme restaurant. The bistro, in Denton Holme, Carlisle, is run by former College students Robert Don and his sister Kirsty Robson.

They were treated to the meal by college principal Moira Tattersall. She said: “It is to recognise the achievement of the students in getting through to the finals and to recognise past students coming back to the county and giving the benefit of their experience.

“It will be lovely for the students to be waited on!”
