Shark dive for charity

A CARLISLE woman braved ferocious sharks to raise £700 for a brain injury charity.

Gemma de Quincey took part in a shark dive in Edinburgh to raise money for Headway.

She began fundraising after sister Danielle died following a freak accident in 1994. The youngster had a fall in the toilets of the Currock Villa Youth Club and suffered fatal head injuries.

The 26-year-old from Denton Holme raised £300 last year after taking part in a sponsored skydive.
