HOW THEY MET: They knew each other from school and have been together for nine years.
PROPOSAL: Ian proposed on the first night in their new home.
VENUE: St John’s Church, Cleator Moor on June 7.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: An Alana L gown encrusted with crystals and a skirt with three layers of net from I Do, Cockermouth; a Swarovski crystals tiara; and short veil decorated with crystals.
GROOMSMEN: Craig Tyson and Paul Bewley were best men. The bride’s brother-in-law David Currie, the groom’s brother Lee Tunstall and school friend Wayne Burns were ushers. The bride’s godson Ben McCarron was a page boy. They wore grey tailcoats and silver waistcoats from Tom Little, Maryport. The groom and best men wore cerise pink waistcoats from Mark Wallace London.
BRIDESMAIDS: The bride’s sister Karen Currie was chief bridesmaid. Clare Greggain, Kirsty Askew and Vicki Palmer were bridesmaids. They wore cerise pink bustier tops, fishtail skirts and silver crystal flower tiaras made by Milenka Grears. The bride’s niece Kacey Leigh Currie was a flowergirl.
FLOWERS: Hand-tied bouquets of cerise pink and white gerberas decorated with crystals from Cottage Gardens, Cockermouth.
TRANSPORT: A Hummer and white limousine from Pro Limos, Penrith.
RECEPTION: Canapé reception at Hundith Hill Cockermouth for 140 guests with a further 80 in the evening.
CAKE: Small white cakes on a clear stand made by family friend Mary Smith.
FIRST DANCE: Amazed by Lonestar.
ENTERTAINMENT: Disco 2000s from Lancaster.
HONEYMOON: Cancun, Mexico.
