Joanna Crellin, 27, a HR adviser at the NDA, and Lee Taylor, 32, an electrician, live in Workington.
PROPOSAL: Lee got down on one knee at their home in Workington in November 2006.
VENUE: All Soul’s Church, Maryport on May 3.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A cream dupion silk, Dizzie Lizzie Couture gown with a cathedral-length veil decorated in crystals from Capricorn, Carlisle and a Linzi Jay tiara from I Do, Cockermouth.
GROOMSMEN: The groom’s brother Karl Armstrong and friend Graham Broatch were best men. The bride’s brother Nicky Crellin and friends Bryan Spencer and Martin Walker were ushers. They wore black tail suits with pinstriped trousers, cream and gold waistcoats and cream ruche ties all from Tom Little, Maryport.
BRIDESMAIDS: Emma Webster, 28, and Louise Crellin, 27, were bridesmaids. They wore full length, strapless Dessy dresses from Capricorn.
FLOWERS: The bride carried a teardrop bouquet of orchids with crystal and pearl detail while the bridesmaids carried posies of hot pink gerberas with crystal detail from Seaton Garden Centre.
TRANSPORT: An open-top Beauford and limousines from A Touch of Class, Workington.
RECEPTION: Canapés and summer punch reception at Hundith Hill Hotel for 90 guests with a further 110 in the evening.
CAKE: A three-tier cream cake with ribbon and crystal detail, made by a family friend.
FIRST DANCE: Endless Love by Lionel Ritchie and Diana Ross.
ENTERTAINMENT: Just Steve singer and Motiv-8 Disco.
HONEYMOON: A surprise trip to Mexico. Lee kept this secret for more than 12 months and told Joanna over a candlelight meal the night before they were due to fly.
