MS society band night

ALLERDALE’S Multiple Sclerosis Society is to hold a band night in Aspatria later this month.

Dearham Brass Band will perform at the Masonic Lodge fund-raising event on Friday, October 17.

Shirley Barton, a member of the society, said: “It will be a great night. It is important that societies like this make money as it is a good cause.”

The evening will kick off at 7pm, and £5 tickets can be bought from Billy Bowman’s, Cockermouth, Wigton Library, the Cumberland Building Society, Aspatria, and Sonia King, of the MS Society, on 016973 20129.
