No friendly

WORKINGTON last night went to Barrow for a friendly with the former Blue Square Premier side who last year won promotion.

Reds skipper Graham Anthony said before the game that he thinks the clash will be taken a bit more seriously than a usual friendly.

The former Barrow player said: “It’s another good game for us. It’s classed as a friendly, but I don’t think it will be a friendly against them.

“It will probably be like a normal game, and will be a good test of our fitness and football.”
