Have you got what it takes to be crowned the Face of Cumbria 2008?
How would you like to win the £1,000 top prize - a modelling shoot with Simon Anderson Photography and professional portfolio?
The runner-up will receive a photo session and smaller portfolio from Simon Anderson Photography.
We want to find six people - men or women - to contest the Face of Cumbria final.
ENTRIES HAVE NOW CLOSED. VOTING WILL START SOON . . .
We must now receive them by Tuesday, July 29, after which the public voting starts. The following week, voting will take place to find the overall winner.

Terms and conditions
Closing date for entries: 12pm, Tuesday July 29, 2008. First round of voting starts at 5pm on Friday, July 25 and closes at 5pm, Friday, August 1 to find the two most popular faces that have come via the News & Star, Times & Star and The Whitehaven News. The six finalists will feature online after 5pm on Friday, August 1 for the second round of voting. Voting closes at 5pm on Friday, August 8. The competition is open to anyone - male or female - over the age of 16 years old. Employees of any CN Group company, or their families, are not eligible to enter. The prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative available. Photos submitted may be used in paper.
