On the finals day at Cleator Moor, Monsters stepped out against Cockermouth.

The monsters played the first half against the wind and early chances were had by both sides.

But then after a good passing move the Monsters went in front with a goal from Ryley Short.

After a couple of near misses with the post keeping the ball out, play continued with both teams going close again.

A break away just before the half-time whistle though saw Dylan Holm finish to make it 2-0 to the Monsters.

In the second half Owen Hoyles had a long-range shot go just over the bar.

Cockermouth then grew stronger as the game went on but the Monsters hung on for a deserved win.
