WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS (12A) (Daily 3.10pm, 5.40pm, 8.10pm, Wed 12.40pm)

DOOMSDAY (18) (Daily 3.40pm, 6.20pm, 9pm, Wed 1pm)

IRON MAN (12A) (Daily 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm, 5.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm) Jon Favreau’s marvellous nuts and bolts realisation of the red and gold armoured Marvel Comics superhero has a tug-of-war between altruism and materialism at its core. It’s terrifically entertaining, fuelled by Favreau’s kinetic direction, strong performances and some thrilling action sequences. Robert Downey Jr shines in the lead role and sizzles with Gwyneth Paltrow.

MADE OF HONOUR (12A) (Daily 8.50pm) This is a gender-reversed revamp of the 1997 romantic comedy My Best Friend’s Wedding, about a bed-hopping, commitment-shy 30-something who realises, almost too late, that he is in love with the only woman he hasn’t slept with. The Scottish setting gives leading man Patrick Dempsey the chance to wear a revealing mini-kilt but he has to use all his charms to sidestep obvious shortcomings in the script. Take with a generous pinch of confetti.

NIMS ISLAND (U) (Daily 3.50pm, 6.30pm, Wed 1.20pm) Abigail Breslin, Oscar-nominated star of Little Miss Sunshine, outshines her co-stars Jodie Foster and action man Gerard Butler as a plucky tyke stranded on her tropical home while her father is lost at sea in this island adventure. Some of the soul-searching is a tad cloying but younger audiences should lap up Nim’s gung-ho exploits.

FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL (15) (Daily Daily 3.20pm, 6pm, 8.40pm, Wed 12.50pm) Leading man and screenwriter Jason Segel defies expectations with this wonderful, touching romantic comedy about one guy’s disastrous efforts to recover from the heartbreak of being dumped by his beautiful girlfriend. Russell Brand is hilarious as a leather-clad British rock star.
