Don’t go OT on Hunto

NEWSPAPERS only start campaigns they know they can win, so there will be no attempt here to talk Carlisle United supporters out of booing Paul Huntington when the Leeds centre-half returns to his home city for Thursday’s second leg.

An evening of barracking for the young defender is a fairly even trade-off for the unnecessary abuse he threw at Blues fans at Elland Road last month.

But that doesn’t mean an attempt at more serious retribution can be waved through. Remember: if it turns remotely physical, a shameful line will be crossed that even Huntington didn’t get near.
