Frizzy perms and jumpsuits for all

FROM the Seventies, at the top of the page, we jump to the Eighties.

80s hair we come: Anita Dobson and Ashes to Ashes

It's almost 30 years since the frizzy perm hair style was in fashion, but surprise, surprise, it's making a comeback, thanks to the success of the retro TV detective series Ashes to Ashes.

Not only that, 1980s bright make up and jumpsuits are joining the latest trend. The bad news is they appear to have created a jumpsuit for every occasion. Evening wear, all-in-one tailored suits for the office, beach-style and the grease-monkey look.

Scarily, the people buying into the 1980s now were probably born in that era.

What will be the next thing to be resurrected? Let’s hope it’s not the leg-warmers or shell suits!
