GRETNA’S final SPL game against Hearts has been brought forward to next Tuesday night at Fir Park.
It follows the rearrangement of SPL games in the wake of Rangers' winning through to the UEFA Cup final.
Next Tuesday’s game, which has been brought forward four days, was originally rearranged for this Thursday.
But players will now end their traumatic first season in the top-flight next on Tuesday in what could mark the last-ever game for the club which faces an uncertain future.
Creditors will meet with the administrators controlling the stricken club’s affairs on Thursday and the worst case scenario could be a winding up order.
Ironically, their final game of the season is against Hearts – the team they faced only two years ago in the club’s greatest day in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden Park.
Gretna are hoping to go out on a high by attracting fans to Fir Park for their SPL swansong.
Admission for children under 16 will be just £1 and there will be reduced admission prices for the game, with adults £15 and concessions £5.
