Carlisle United's "billionaire" saga reaches another milestone today - with still no sign of the mystery investor.
It is now 300 days since the Blues announced they had been approached by an overseas party with a "genuine and firm" interest in the club.
It was later claimed the foreign party was a billionaire, with chairman Andrew Jenkins recently insisting it remained a "live option".
Jenkins claimed the club had been in contact with the billionaire's agent to find out "where we stand".
But despite nearly 10 months having passed, it is understood the United hierarchy have still not met the billionaire face to face.
The Brunton Park owners announced the approach on May 19 last year, shortly before dropping an investment proposal led by Andrew Lapping.
More recently the Blues top brass rebuffed a £2 million proposal involving local businessmen and the Carlisle United Official Supporters' Club.
Those behind that bid say it remains on the table and they are keen for more talks with Jenkins and fellow owners John Nixon and Steven Pattison.
The News & Star recently re-sent a list of questions to United's owners regarding the "billionaire" and other key subjects about the future of the club.
*UNITED'S youth team were involved in a dramatic 4-4 draw at Blackpool on Saturday.
